Did anyone find Graendal a little cartoonish in this book? I openly laughed at her on several occasions and I've rarely done that with the Forsaken (except when Flinn beat up Demandred).
Some of these things included...
1. Possessing a bird and feeling sick while she was flying, and then getting frustrated because the bird's eyes looked in different directions and she couldn't adapt, followed by her anger that a bird has primitive ears and can't hear well. LOL.
2. Graendal living in a cave, but still finding time to find six pretty new pets who draped the cave walls with silk. LOL.
3. Graendal sweating heavily around Moridin and saying ridiculous Shadow-alternatives like 'Darkness within!', and then being ignored and treated like a rug by the Nae'blis.
4. Graendal rushing around her room stuffing a sack with silk clothing and an angreal while preparing to flee. I mean seriously, a Forsaken running away like a junkie evading the police. LOL.
its too bad that BS ruined her, she was one of my favorite forsaken
also, why didnt she just travel to perrins tent in the night and kill him, shes supposed to be one of the most powerful channelers alive but she doesnt even try to kill him or destroy his army
wtf?

The only one of those that was truly jarring was "Darkness within!" *NM*

So two books of cartoony Rand, Egwene, Aes Sedai, Mat etc., but a bad Graendal PoV rouses ire?

I think the "punch across the table" tactic by Rand ruined her intricate web of plans &contingencies *NM*
