I can't believe I couldn't find a thread about this yet. (That's not to say there isn't one.)
Somebody named Taim has 13 Myrddraal hidden away and is turning people to the shadow. Tarna is the only woman we've seen so far, but it has been implied that many men have been turned. I know we all waited for the 13x13 trick with bated breath, we knew it had been foreshadowed for too long, but my oh my did the realization give me goosebumps! Oh, Tarna! Poor woman, I actually liked you. You, Pevara, and Silviana were the only Reds I liked!!
If so many men at the Black Tower have been turned to the shadow, How the Hell will Rand deal with this issue before the LB? He can't afford to have half the BT break away and lead the shadow's forces as Dreadlords, ESPCIALLY not if the appropriate bonded Aes Sedai are all turned as well. Then, each of those Dreadlords would have a dark AS to link with, making the dreadlords much more formidable. This does NOT bode well, but it likely foreshadows a MAJOR plot point in aMoL.

There were a couple of threads about it last week. I think Taim has now recruited all those that would join willingly and has started making his way through the rest, turning them against their will one by one. I also think that Androl and Pevara will link, with her added strength his Talent will be able to overcome the dreamspike and they'll get out to warn the Light (much more probably Logain, not Rand, as Androl is very much Logain's man). Leading to us *finally* getting to see the Black tower rent in blood and fire, I've been looking forward to that for what seems like forever!I thinkplotiwse it simply makes sense to have most of them turned as it evens up the power of the channelers. The Shadow will have the majority of the men with relatively few women to link with while the Light will have the opposite. There should be some good channeling scenes coming up

The way I read it, the book implied that many of the newly raised Asha'man had been 13x13'd *NM*
