That part did occur in TaR. However, I have heard it hypothesized that the world is the creator's dream, and as the Dark One's touch erodes it, it begins to get soft and unravel in some places, the way things can be mutable in TaR. Don't know if I believe that, but it's interesting.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the parts of the battle between Rand and Ishamael that involved water appearing from nowhere and air becoming stone happened in TAR, so it wasn't the TP being used but simply Ishamael controlling TAR. That doesn't necessarily invalidate your epiphany, though.


Ah, I didn't even think that it had occured in TAR. Now I feel stupid.
