What can she do about this? The 2 most obvious answers are not to have any descendants, or to make sure to tell those descendants exactly what the outcome would be of actions like these and caution the kids against them.
How about she starts with naming the kids differently to what's in the vision? By changing this small bit, she proves it's a 'maybe' not a given.
As for the lessons, one that hasn't been picked up that I can see, is in her visions the only ones fighting the Seanchan are the Wise Ones and Dragon Blooded. Still no indication that there are any male Aiel Channelers post LB unless I missed it. Rule 1 from the AOL - men and women working together with the Power are more then the sum of their parts.
Aviendha convincing the Aiel to have male channelers now the Taint is gone would be a great first step to ensuring the Seanchan can't overrun them. Sure they still have the domination bands, but given the Seanchan can't link, a Wise One/male Aiel linked combination in battle against Seanchan channelers would be a MUCH tougher proposition then just Wise Ones and a handful of Dragon Blooded.
That and yet another Seanchan one where no one seems to have fraking passed on the extremely simple and little Power needed weave to open an a'dam Nyn. figured out in TGH and Egwene used in TGS. Why the frak isn't this being taught to every female channeler able to channel more then Morgase? And shown to the men (via a link) so they can figure out an equivalent one. The next battle against the Seanchan should be "oops trying to shield me, oops AS you didn't notice has just gone *flick* *flick* *flick*. Oww, those 3 damane are either punching you - ala TGH - or cowering on the floor not helping you? My heart bleeds". Plot contrivances ensure it won't be like this, but it IS a massive plot contrivance that the Seanchan channelers will be a much larger challenge when they are next met then they should be.

That's nice, but how does it ensure the Seanchan aren't a threat? *NM*

Even if it couldn't show her anything, it should still be "alive" with the Power. *NM*

I don't think it's the future. Aviendha's character had no purpose until now
