For those of you who read or participated in my "Somebody spoiler me" thread, OMG, WTF!?!

For everyone else, OMG! This part was amazing to read, but I still haven't sorted through the many emotions I feel about this part. I will try to do so now.

My first irrational thoughts are, (1) OMG Aviendha & Rand's bloodline can't end like that! The last girl, the one she sees first, being stabbed in the back trying to eat dirt-encrusted fat at just 18, presumably without having children. (2) OMG The Aiel are going to forget Ji'e'Toh and and their roots the same way the Aiel first forgot the Way of the Leaf, and Avi is as horrified at that as one of the Da'shain would have been if they'd forseen their transformation into warriors. (3) OMG, NO! Elayne's grandkids and Avi's grandkinds need to LOVE eachother! (4) OMG What if Avi decides that the best way to avoid this future is to not marry or have kids with Rand?

OK, had to get those out of there so I could go on to deeper thinking.

We are to assume from this that the Seanchan are going to take over the rest of the world, specifically after the death of Tuon who was said to have at least been somewhat reasonable. If Tuon, just now 20, is dead by the time the next generation is about the same age, then she did not die of natural causes and was likely assassinated. No mention here of Mat...

Aviendha's children will set the Aiel on the path of disaster by deciding that the Aiel have been too long at peace, and that the Seanchan are the logical people to wage war against. Then Avi's grandchildren doom them all (and Andor as well) by tricking Elayne's granddaughter into believing the Seanchan are going to attack her realm. Aviendha's descendents alone are going to doom not only the Aiel, but the rest of the known world!!!

What can she do about this? The 2 most obvious answers are not to have any descendants, or to make sure to tell those descendants exactly what the outcome would be of actions like these and caution the kids against them. The third and less obvious answer is to go to Rand with her new knowledge and convince him that to ensure the safety of her people, his people, he cannot go to TG without settling the Seanchan once and for all.

These visions imply that Rand will kneel to Tuon at some point, fulfilling the Seanchan prophecy that everyone assumes (or knows?) was just added by Luthair to make his empire sound like it was important and would last throughout the centuries until the LB. Interesting implication there.

How cool/wierd is it that Rand and Avi's children can all channel from too young an age, and don't have to consciously embrace/seize the power? What's up with that?

I wonder if, now that Rhuidean's ter'angreal has been re-purposed, the other Aiel Wise Ones will return to Rhuidean for the third time, and learn the future of their people. If I were a WO and Aviendha returned and told me all of THAT, I would be like, "Well, come on gals, looks like we're Traveling to Rhuidean. I need to see this for myself!"

And where is Rand in all this? Avi's daughter thought of him in terms that seemed familiar, not how someone would think about a father never met, but at the same time it seems implied that he is no longer around, and has not been for some time. Seems like it would have to be one or the other, since Tarmon Gaidon is about to start and Avi isn't even pregnant yet. Are they trying to imply that Rand will survive the LB, but will not live beyond a few years after?

And the biggest question that I know everyone asked themselves after reading this, Is this the definite future, can it be changed, or was it just one possible outcome? The worst possible outcome that has to be avoided at all costs?

I would appreciate your thoughts on the matter, since I can't seem to organize mine!
