It's been implied by Jordan and by Sanderson that the DO thinks much too poorly of the 3rd Age channelers to make any of them a Chosen.

It doesn't change much, in the 3rd Age the Dreadlords play the very same role as the WOS' minor Chosen used to (all the AS who served the Shadow had the title) as the pawns/followers of the more powerful Chosen.

I think it's fairly unlikely the DO raises anyone new to the "rank" of Chosen now. That was largely a ploy to get as many of the honour-obsessed AOL Aes Sedai to join his side, replacing what they'd lose leaving the Guild, their honours and third name etc. by the exalted (yet empty) rank of "Chosen"? He doesn't need this in the third Age - promises to rule under the Chosen or immortality etc. are enough, and to do so might make the Chosen jealous or prone to eliminate the newcomers, if they feel they are potential rivals in the DO's eyes. Why risk losing an asset like Taim by giving him the same rank as Demandred, when Demandred won't touch him as long as he believes he's so clearly beneath him in the DO's eyes (and the same for Mesaana and Alviarin, for example)?

Giving all the AS the rank of Chosen also garanteed these hundreds of thousands of servants would fight for prominence, and the strongest would survive, and become stronger in the struggle. That too is no longer necessary. The DO doesn't have enough candidates anymore, and no longer encourages the Chosen to eliminate one another. That was something for the AOL.
