We've seen all the effects of the Pattern slowly unraveling, from corridors in palaces disappearing and re-appearing to whole villages melting away.

Now, today while reading KoD, I sat back and had a small epiphany, maybe. Doesn't the Pattern unraveling seem a bit like when the True Power is being wielded? When Rand is fighting Ishamael in Tear in tDR, water appears from nowhere, air becomes stone, and so on and so forth. Maybe I'm reading too much into all this, or maybe I'm the last person in the world who realizes it, but I just wanted to bring this up. Maybe I'm not the only one who has wondered about this.
