I never really liked Cadsuane, but at least I can see that her intentions, though the way she goes about doing things is odd, are good. She does, in her way, mean well.

But Egwene is a sad tale, in my opinion. I'm not sure if Jordan and Sanderson meant to do this, but I think her story is one of a young girl who came from a small village, who was kind and sweet, although a little stubborn, but caring for the people around her. But power from saidar and power from the Amrylin Seat has turned her into a manipulative, calculating she-dog. Now, thats not to say that she is always wrong, but its really sad to see how power has corrupted someone like that.
