perhaps this should be another thread, but here it is. How many Aeil would accept serving the DO if it means living and channeling? I don't think all who went would, but a majority, 50/50, less?

And it would be the sparkers, which is the minority of channelers, and those that don't die from the initial sickness, which kills off a few.

Just think it may not be as many as one would expect, and Ishy would have been the one to get the ball rolling there, free the first one of the taint and teach him how to free the rest. They may still be under Ishy.

I did go a bit off track there, a new thread could be good. We know that there are Aiel DF's so some of them willingly turing to the Shadow is likjely. Those that won't? Turn them. Considering how long channelers live for when they're not bound by the Oath rod, how many men could have survived long enough to be captured, turned and taught how to channel safely over the past 400+ years? I think there will be a lot more than expected, we'll have to wait and see :)

Oh, I just had a lovely loony idea LOL! Deep in the Blight, Dreadlord breeding camps where the Black Ajah and Aiel men have been slowly producing a channeling army for centuries, that would push the numbers up :D
