rand's channelling sickness. i've just finished WH and remembered how rand's sickness persists even after he cleanses saidin. also there are moments in WH where even when he's not holding saidin or reaching for it he gets a wave of nausea and sees another man's face (moridin right?). anyway given how they seem to be linked, perhaps when moridin uses/embraces the True Power rand feels it. that would explain the face and the sickness when rand isn't even channelling
also here's another stab at demandred's identity. do we know who the knew king of tarabon is? i seem to remember andric (the previous king) being killed with the seanchan invasion because he refused his oaths and it always bugged me why the taraboners were so readily accepting of the seanchan rule. i think that given semirhage and demandred's past alliances it makes sense that they have two nations united together
