I had the same thought, but when I was composing an answer to DK up there, I looked at the chronological order of things.

Egwene Dreamed about the camp, was released a few hours later, did a full 24 hrs of Sitters influencing-Hall steering-Verin meeting-Seanchan ass-kicking, was rescued the next morning, planned her attack in the afternoon and entered TV as Amyrlin in the evening. The epilogue where she sees the clouds break is then at least a few hours later and is thus at least 40 hours after her Dream. It's even implied that they've settled themselves a little, so maybe there's even been a few extra days.

On the other hand, the time between Rand being in the Tinker camp and his appearance on Dragonmount takes at most half a day. He sleeps in the camp, enters the city in the morning, wanders about a little, then goes to the Tarasin Palace, flees the scene to the place he fought the Seanchan with Calandor and then skims to Dragonmount.

These two time lines don't line up. In other words: Rand was in the Tinker camp a lot later than Egwene's Dream.

Summary: I'm back to square one. And I thought I was so clever at not needing to find a theory online on why she went there...

Unless...

Unless TAR is really weird in the "time flows differently here". But we've only ever seen that time spent in TAR might take longer or less time than IRL (TM), but not into the future or past.

(Of course it could be that TAR tried to tell her "find this camp, as the Dragon Reborn will be here in a few days." Not sure why she would be Needing to meet Rand at that point in time, though. It wouldn't have ended well for Egwene had Rand suddenly seen her standing in front of him in the state he was in at that time.)
