That's why I stopped caring who Mesaana was. All of the interesting options dried up as we got more books. Danelle isn't that interesting. She has done nothing since book 4. She split the tower up, but she's not a person I care about. If she had been someone I cared about like Sheriam or Leane then it would have been cool.
Danelle was one of the obvious choices to be Mesaana from the very beginning... No big surprise that it's her
