Yeah, certainly seems heavily foreshadowed. Though that could be taken as further evidence FOR the general sense of the theory; if Nynaeve does it whether Egwene knows or not becomes immaterial, and obviously Elayne's under no prohibition about discussing Birgitte with HER.
