For me it's Therava. She's just so utterly pitiless. And unlike pretty much every other BA or Forsaken or Seanchan antagonist, there's no arrogance to her; she really is as hard and cruel and clever as she thinks she is.


After that he basically became a comic book villain.

For me, Machin Shin has always scared me, and the Mashadar/Shadar Logoth scenes in TEotW were always frightening as well.

I don't think RJ is that good at writing scary characters.
