Possibly since I didn't have to wait for several years for it. Reading through WH and COT in a go makes for a real nice story moving forward.
But having to wait several years and then getting this? No, I was not well pleased.
I still feel that WH and COT together (minus the bathing, Feeling-the-baby-is-OK scene and several other (parts of) scenes) would have been 1 heck of a good book.
Maybe get all of the stories in COT intertwined with the WH storylines, then all the channelers are freaking out (which freak the reader out since he doesn;t know what's happening) and then in the end we find out it's Rand cleaning the taint.
Or something like that.
Best part: we'll get the fabled 13 books in the end, instead of a lame 14.
