I am sorry but that is the definition of fanboy .

Personally, I like and can identify with the vast majority of characters in WoT, even those who made their first appearance in books 7 and 8. I don't think I can fully understand your approach to the series; this is especially true, since Rand is in only about 1/4 of the series. How could you have lasted this long?
My words about 'fanboy' was mostly in 'jest', though. It does get under my skin a little when people say that WoT is about Rand or even worse about the 3 ta'veren. Plus some of the comments on other boards that seem to want Rand to dominate the story from now on, bother me a little. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Theirs may even have a better chance of being right. I truly don't mean to insult your view.
I wear my biases on my sleeve as well. My favorite characters are almost universally women. (Although I am tempted to put Egwene in the male category and Perrin in the female ) . I want to see more of MY favorite characters and I want to see them shine. The odd thing is that being ta'veren makes the characters less interesting to me. I find characters who work hard for their accomplishments more interesting than those who have everything (good and bad) handed to them or forced on them.

The worst thing about chapter 1

Wait there was ever a doubt who the Dragon would turn out to be? I never had any question. *NM*

tEotW's story moves quickly and surprises you often. Perrin's has a wolfening, and could be the DR. *NM*

Funny I always thought that Perrins becoming a WB excluded ohm for being the DR

I don't think chapter 1-7 will be about Rand (or Egwene)

Agreed, or perhaps we'll hear from Elayne or other less interesting arcs to the casual reader. *NM*
