that they just don't procreate any more & even with all the political reasons for not procreating many of those same reasons existed in the AoL. Also that the woman who discovered the oath rod didnt know it restricted her lifespan, why not also not realize it made her not want to procreate, or that perhaps it would make her infertile etc
