I've always been under the impression that she was involved in the illegal gentling of male channelers, but I don't have anything to back that up except my (possibly faulty) memory. I think there might be something mentioned subtly in one of her chats with Alviarin, when Alviarin says something like "that's a dangerous number to say out loud."

I think since Elaida doesn't like anyone, you could say she doesn't like men


I don't remember where it was but she used some incredibly harsh language, religious in it's tone to denounce them in general and Rand in particular.
