seanchan helmet Foxhead Send a noteboard - 21/09/2010 12:15:04 PM
"The helmet looked very much like some monstrous insect's head, with thin red plumes like feelers; the wearer seemed to be peering out through mandibles."

TGH: 29, Seanchan

this is from falme.

when rand goes to rhuidean through the rings he experiences coumin's life who lived just as LTT and the hundred companions sealed the Bore

"it was then that he saw the soldier only a few steps away watching them. he had left his shocklance and fancloth battle cape somewhere, but he still wore his helmet, like some monstrous insect's head, it's mandibles hiding his face though his black shockvisor was raised"

TSR: 26, the dedicated

is this just a coincidence or is it that when luthair's armies landed in seanchan the armies of the night (remnants and descendants of the AoL armies) had this armour and they modified from that. after all this helmet was not typical to the hawkwing armies else it would not seem so strange to randlanders when the seanchan landed

or is it just a similarity of little note?
