In March of 2000, Paul Ward received a letter from RJ in which he listed what some of the regional accents of Randland sound like:
* Two Rivers - Irish/English
* Illianers - Dutch
* Aiel - somewhat Slavic
* Tairen - Spanish
* Domani - Indian
* Saldaean - Egyptian/North African
* Seanchan - Texas
I believe that Andor is considered fairly British with Camelyn closely mirroring Elizabethan England. Outlying territories take on the role of the "conquered" British Isles such as Ireland (like that of the Two Rivers) and possibly Scotland.
This also parallels with Cairhien being influenced mainly by France (with some Japanese thrown in for color) and mirroring England and France's very long and bloody rivalry and inter-woven royal marriages.
This entry in the FAQ also has a good description of the real world influences on Randland nations.
Hope that helps!
