Maybe, but it seems less likely since the Ageless look is a byproduct of a ter'angreal darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 04/09/2010 05:33:57 PM
I'm not saying it's on the page, but it is a possibility, don't you think? Especially since we've seen gender-specific results before (e.g., opposite Power heals stilling better than the same Power).

This, along with factors like when a woman became bound by the Oaths, could be the main players when a stilled AS regains her youth. So the effects on sisters stilled by Rand would hold up...

I don't think Shashalle and the other 2 Rand Stilled have ever been noted as having lost the look ... Rand crushed the ability out of them violently yet it after weeks they still had not changed anywhere close to what happened to Siuan and Leanne ... makes me wonder what could have happened differently there ... even Amico was already losing the look after a much less brutal Stilling. Seems to me that the longer a woman was under the Oaths the less dramatic the shift.

Siuan, Leanna and Amico are/were all very young for AS seems to me that this plays a role.

rather than something one of the Powers has created specifically. The Oaths are stilled tied to a woman's ability to channel saidar, so it doesn't seem likely that she would have a different result because her ability was removed using saidin.

Maybe it's something that occurs when a woman is stilled by Saidar instead of Saidin. - 04/09/2010 08:31:16 AM 610 Views
