That is an extremely well presented and though out essey DomA that pretty much clarifies a lot about Rand & LTT. The only area I disagree with is that I don't think the attack in Tear by the 100,000 shadowspawn was the first time Rand & LTT ever fully worked together.
When Rand was captured and shielded by the Tower Aes Sedai he was force into working with LTT to figure out how to escape from the shield. Granted this was a more limited partnership.
I recall reading another theory some years ago about multiple personality disorder. I can't remember where I read the post but the lady who wrote it make a telling point that when Caddy first showed up and told Rand that men who were going mad started to hear voices LTT's voice went away.
This was a possible sign that Rand was for fear of going mad not relying on the 'crutch' that was LTT and dealling with things himself but as pressure increased he fell back on all his negitive instincts comming from the madman whispering in his ear.
One think that I did find telling was that while Rand's LTT was probably only a negitive version of what the real LTT had been like occasionally parts of the real man slipped through. As a case in point LTT remarked to Rand about remembering Ishamael and Lanfear finally dying. He went on that they had both deserved to die but he had been glad that he had not had to be the one to kill Lanfear.
Rand had no love for the forsaken but even the shadow image of LTT while acknowleging that Lanfear deserved death still had a soft spot for her for old times sake.
