It was posted by Light in the Night and it's really great and really long but very interesting.
Actually I believe it hits the bullseye when regarding one of the big plot secrets. The one about The Song.
The Theory is called "The Song of Saidin"
LitN argues that the song is actually something emananting from saidin. LitN quotes several sentences from the first book where Rand holds the OP at Eye of the World. Saidin seemed to sing to him. This ability appears to disappear the more Rand is damaged by the taint. Early on in the series Rand can no longer hear saidin sing. Then LitN shows scenes from Shadow Rising when Rand sees the Aiels past. We get to see that the male Da'shain Aiel and the Nym sang to make crops grow and the Nym seemed to gather weaves from the air and fertilise the crops with them. LitN argues this was actually saidin being used.
The Song, LitN argues has been lost because of the Taint and the way it has damaged the male users beyond being able to hear it again even though saidin being cleansed. Rand was able to hear it because he channeled from The Eye of the World wich was pure clean saidin.
But I don't know if it would be disrespectful of me to post the entire thing without consent from Light in the Night. And besides it is very long! Hopefully it will get republished as Nebhead said.
