I agree with the bulk of your post. I only want to quibble with point 4:
While I agree with TPOD being a turning point for Rand, I'm not prepared to give Sammael any credit for it. IIRC, the two female nobles were from Cairhien and Tear. This doesn't mean that either or both couldn't be DFs, but even so, they likely wouldn't be Sammael's agents. Beyond that, the Illianers have if anything been the least troublesome of Rand's followers. Other than that one soldier who tried to shoot him they've been quiet and presumably loyal.
Then again, maybe we're being set up and the Illianers are going to desert en masse once TG begins. It's not even outside the realm of possiblity that Illian is Demandred's new power base.
4. Even after Rand defeated him in Illian, Sammael left enough strife and corruption there to push Rand towards becoming Dark Rand in his campaign against the Seanchan. I'm pretty sure that one of the two female nobles following him was the DF we saw in the tGH DF social. TPoD was a turning point from Rand, probably where he first started to use anger and bullying as his modus operandi. All thanks to the disorder left by Sammael (specifically, the corrupt, incompetent nobles).
