who killed barthanes? Foxhead Send a noteboard - 24/08/2010 12:39:38 AM
as rand leaves cairhien after an evening at barthanes' manor following fain and the horn of valere there is news that barthanes has been brutally murdered, torn piece by piece with his head left on top

who killed him? and why? was it because he passed on fain's message to rand to meet him on toman's head?

i think given the nature of the murder it could only have been Shaidar Haran or a gholam, wasn't that philosopher murdered by the gholam killed in a similar fashion? and we all know how SH is. just wondering what everybody thought or if it had been resolved and i'd forgotten
