Does LTT know? Datakim Send a noteboard - 21/08/2010 05:23:02 AM
Aes Sedai travelled to other stars and planets during the Age of Legends. This has been stated by the Forsaken and confirmed by RJ.

RJ also said that you could Travel directly to other planets through gateways made by circles of channelers. An all female circle would be strong enough to reach Mars and other planets in the solar system.

Another potential reason would be for Rand to do it. I mean if he has LTT's memories now, then presumably as the leader of the AS he would have knowledge of any colonies or research installations in space. Even if there are no survivors, could there be some usefull technology left somewhere. Lets say there was a research-base on the moon in AoL due to the low-gravity or whatever, would anything usefull have survived the passage of time.

I could for example see Rand traveling there to fetch some shocklances or other AoL weapons.
