i vaguely remember that the fade in the DF meeting was supposed to an earlier version of SH, but are the clues for this? also should a DO invested fade be as cowering towards ishy as he was?

and lastly have we seen all the DFs out in the world in the books from that meeting yet? or was it just to show how spread DFs are? there was:

1. a shienaran soldier (ingtar)

2. a possible noble illian woman who likes showing off her body

Not sure, I wonder if it was one of the noblewomen Rand took on his campaign from Illian against the Seanchan.

3. a swan necked domani with long black hair

Alviarin? She could have hidden the fact that she was AS. Wasn't she described as "swan necked" often? Or was that Liandrin?

4. a tinker

This will probably play a role in ToM or AMoL when the Song is rediscovered.

5. two AS (i guess one is liandrin?)

Not sure, could be anyone.

6. a high lord of tear

Would be fascinating if this was Darlin. Doubt it though, I think he's clean.

7. a high ranking andoran officer

No thoughts here, although Mr. Guybon showed up at a very *convenient* time, I doubt he's a DF.

8. a slender male sea folk

Not sure who this could be, but for a long time now I've contended that Demandred controls the Sea Folk. Aside from the BT, they are the strongest group of channelers who are not really accounted for, and they can go anywhere (even Andor, thanks to Elayne's deal).

rereading the passage i'm guessing the telltale sign from the myrddraal is its smile? is it that fades don't have a sense of humour or something?

I don't think it had any of SH in it, but I think it might have been part of an experiment to produce a Myddraal that could host him.
