Kudos! I'm pretty sure I wasn't on this site back then, and I'm happy that someone got this idea in their heads. Double-kudos for the Rand-TP well idea.
Yeah, in truth I was mostly joking with the nyeah, I doubt I am the first to come up with that idea. Heck, some random reader somewhere probably realised the possibility in the first book.
Maybe Ishy-Din has been doing this all along, hence his constant TP channeling?
That is actually an interesting question. I mean we know that TP is in some way part of the DO or even IS DO. So what would happen if Ishy made a well of TP, only to have Rand seal the DO away properly before it was used. Would that not leave a small part of the DO behind in the pattern and free. I wonder what the effect of that would be.
