I read when I have time. Usually, that means I don't read. I think it took me like 2 or 3 months to get through tGS.
4. If the prologue is released early on a book, do you like to read it when it is released?
It depends. If I want to visit the WoT board on this site (or anywhere else that discusses WoT), then yes I need to read the prologue. If not, then I don't really care when I read it.
Personally, I love to read the books slowly, so that I don't miss things and have to reread. I also don't like to read the prologues ahead of time because then I either get too excited for the book and annoyed that I don't have it, OR I forget the prologue by the time the book comes out and get annoyed I have to reread.
I sort of got around this one by buying the Audible version of the last prologue. I may do that again since I usually prefer that to reading (out of convenience). Unfortunately, buying the whole audiobook is a no-no for me (too expensive).
When it comes to the newly released book...

I take my time and I no longer bother reading the prologue or first chapter during early releases. *NM*

I read books fast. Reading books slow to me = cutting myself off at certain chapters to ration it.
