What does that question mean? I don't remember any thing about Mat's "people".


It is a bit unclear. It might refer to the people whose memories Mat gained from the finns. The idea being that there is a connection between Aiel/Tinkers and Mat and the memories are it.

If so its likely not the case since RJ said that the memories are of random people who went through the ToG in previous times. Mat also has mentioned no memories from the Aiel.

I don't know any other people that could be called Mats. Other than his armies but they have no connection to the Aiel.

IIRC, he started doing that before he went to the Finns. He repeats phrases like "for the red eagle" or something, which might have something to do with his old country (like Perrin, the wolf's head, and Manatheren maybe?)
