Q: @liveforthecity2 asks: "how do you flesh out your characters? I can never seem to get mine to come alive."
A: This is a bigger topic than a tweet can cover. Writing Excuses has done several characterization episodes. Maybe go look through those. Remember they have lives outside the story; make them care about things. Also, give them unexpected quirks that don't fit their station/role
Q: @BrandonSandrson I think Yoniy0 meant 'would Egwene be able to kill (fell) fleeing to'raken were she bound by the Oaths?'
A: @WoTLuckers I don't know that she would have been able to. Depends. The Oaths depend on how you view what you're doing. @WoTLuckers Elaida got around them (or to the side of them) by convincing herself Egwene was a darkfriend.
Q: @BrandonSandrson You said you were surprised when you found out who killed Asmodean. Who did you think was the killer before you read it?
A: @DirektorDoom Problem is, I'd read SO many theories by that point that my head spun. I can't say who I thought, or it would rule them out.
Q: @BrandonSandrson Have you ever wondered if Mat Cauthon's "People" are all the descendents of the Da'shain Aiel?
@BrandonSandrson Aelfinn hinted at it, Mat's offer 'protection' to the Sea Folk Windfinders, even Rhuarc & the Aiel Maidens respect him. @BrandonSandrson the only group left out, is the Tinkers thus far ... yet his wife Fortuona offers them protection. Then there's Luca.... @BrandonSandrson Basically that unanswered question of "who Mat's People really are" has been in the back of mind, for almost 17 years now.
A: @FelixPax It often comes back to Luca for you, doesn't it? Interesting theory. Very interesting.
Q: @BrandonSandrson thanks for replying! Did Mr.Jordan list out what the TP can/not do relative to the OP? are there limits to both?
A: @Azral_Joe RAFO. Maybe we'll put some of that in the encyclopedia. They are certainly different. TofM has some hints.
Many (including @einwynn) are asking about how to become beta readers. Well, it's different for my own books than it is for wot... For WoT, Harriet's in charge; the betas are people she trusts and knows. For myself, it varies by book. Usually people I know, though.
Q: @BrandonSandrson Sorry. There has been some discussion around the 3rd Oath and Egwene attacking retreating ra'ken... @BrandonSandrson I was asking if you think she could've done the same now, after taking the Oaths (and whether you asked Maria to weight in)
A: @yoniy0 We did talk about this. I think it's iffy. Depends on Egwene's mindset. I don't think most Aes Sedai could have done it.
@yoniy0 @yoniy0 In fact, it's good her circles was with those who hadn't taken the Oaths yet...
Q: @BrandonSandrson Curious about gateways. Why has Rand not opened one between his enemies and the bottom of the ocean. Is there a reason?
A: @Lethfil RAFO.
Q: @BrandonSandrson When WoT series is finished, will you feel more inclined to share WoT details that didn't make it to the books?
A: @JeffEdde Yes, I will.
Q: @BrandonSandrson: Mashadar is gone, isn't it? Would it really hurt to say whether TP would be affected?
A: @jaminben73 Have we ever confirmed that Mashadar is dead?
Q: @BrandonSandrson did you inherit the Huge custom dictionary from RJ or did you have to create one yourself when you took over writing WoT
A: @Andrew_J_North I made a new one.
Q: @BrandonSandrson who would you say is your favorite Forsaken? And that's coming from you as a fan more than you as the writer haha
A: @Southpaw2014 Hmm... Ishy/Moridin.
Q: @BrandonSandrson - does Min's comment to Corele mean that the Dark One can subvert her viewings BEFORE the Pattern is destroyed? @BrandonSandrson - asked in reference to the viewing that Elza would serve Rand. Or did it simply not imply she would serve forever?
A: @Terez27 Elza did serve Rand, in her own way. It did not mean forever. That was not a subverting of the viewing. (Or wasn't meant to be.)
Q: @BrandonSandrson - thanks! That's what I thought but some will still say you didn't answer the original question lol. It's Theoryland.
A: @Terez27 Robert Jordan taught me to give Aes Sedai answers.

So, apparently BS's guess on Asmodean's killer before he read the revelation was wrong. Might speak yet again a bit against the most popular suspect Graendal...
It's interesting that BS indicates that Mashadar might not be dead, although SL was destroyed.
A simple explanation might be that Mordeth who is inside Padan Fain was the embodiement of Mashadar which makes it very much still alive and we know he can "infect" people and do his "tricks". He might be vital to winning the LB now that I think about it.
