Already Min's first Viewings of Lan, namely "seven ruined towers around his head, and a babe in a cradle holding a sword", rather indicate to me - especially since Min always sees the future - that history will probably repeat itself, so that Lan's child will lose the father as a baby as well. Min's Viewing in TGS just strengthens this idea, because who else should be such important for Nynaeve that she is specifically seen griefing about the death.
