But plot-wise I don't really see yet why Beldeine should get that dull dagger from Elayne. Seems like a too powerful device to be given to an ordinary AS.
I would rather think at the moment that this points to an assassination on her, probably by the Shadow (Gray Man, Slayer, Aran'gar?), or maybe by one of the remaining blood knives.
But might mean something completely different.
