Verin used a primitive Compulsion on the Tower Aes Sedai that were captives in the Aiel Camp. Gher Send a noteboard - 16/07/2010 11:13:30 PM
It was to convince them to help the Dragon Reborn. They all found their own reasons to do so. In Elza's Case, she was convinced that the Dragon Reborn had to be at the Last Battle to get crushed by the Great Lord.

1. Was this Elza? Why would she be compelled then? Or was this a non-darkfriend who had compulsion used on her?

Pretty sure it was Elza.

2. How did she get the adam?

A lot of people think that there is a DF hiding in the Aiel Wise Ones, who saw where Cadsuane was keeping the a'dam, and what wards were around it, and then probably gave it to Elza.

But I'm not really sure how she got ahold of it *shrug*.

In fact, I found confirmation that Elza removed the a'dam from Cadsuane's box. - 21/07/2010 07:10:41 AM 538 Views
