I also liked your explanation of #1 and two women. I'm too convinced that a woman controlling Callandor and the Dragon being in the back seat kinda defeats the meaning of the Dragon facing the DO.
I think that the prophecy is two fold, describing two unrelated (at least directly) things: 1) Rand using Callandor and 2) some "three" becoming some "one" or uniting to be "one".
The most logical conculsion I see is this: three become one is referring to Rand+Mat+Perrin as some sort of combined "Champion of Light" persona. Not in direct meaning of the word "persona", but in minds of millions people facing the Last Battle. They eventually will meet up before the Last Battle and will be identified as "one" in terms of leadeship of the Light.
