Are the ways cleaned up since the taint has been removed? Weren't the ways created by males and went down hill after the taint? Any thoughts on this?


The Ways were made by man, and although we don't know what exactly caused their corruption, it may very well be an effect of the taint. Saidin may be cleansed, but the effects of it have not receded from those who channelled it. I would imagine the same would be true of the Ways, although there is nothing feeding its corruption, the corruption likely remains.
