So just a quick question. I know Moiraine had previously gone through the ter'angreal with Lanfear and it melted. Is it nevertheless possible that Moiraine gave the Finns Asmodean in exchange for something?

I've seen the speculation that Lanfear may have asked the Finns to kill Asmodean, but what about Moiraine? Could she have asked them to do it?


Following the timing of events, the killer was in a place that was accessible to Asmo at the time he stepped in the door. The place is special because in it, death is beyond the DO's reach if caused a certain way, which otherwise wouldnt cause this separation.

Perhaps Moiraine saw that Asmo needed to be truly separated from the DO in order to help Rand and to do this, she had to kill him a certain way in Finnland?
