Last time when Lews Therin sealed the Bore, he went crazy. After that Latra Posae fought the remnant of the Shadow by chasing after the remaining Shadow armies and dreadlords. Assuming Rand dies/vanishes/retires, can we expect the following...
1. Hunting down the remaining dreadlords and darkfriends?
2. Hunting down the remaining shadowspawn?
Or... do you think that the entire Shadow will be utterly vanquished immediately during the Last Battle when the Dark One is sealed away?
Whole will this Shadar Nor be? Some people think Logain, while others think Narishma or Egwene.
Nicola's Foretelling alludes to a world at war even after the LB to I have a feeling the variuos leaders will have a long years of fighting ahead of them post TG.
Egwene and Logain are looking like they will be the respective leaders of the Towers so I hope they end up working together (maybe Egwene will grow tired of Gawyn and fall for Logain!). But neither of them has much influence with the Aiel, Sea Folk and certainly not the Seanchan so it'll be hard for there to be 1 unified leader.
But if I were to choose one out of the hat I'd go with Egwene, since the AS have the most structured influence throughout the nations. She is in the best position to take control and Logain has the taint of being a False Dragon to overcome. IMO Logain is the least likely to be able to rally the nations behind him due to that.
Narishma I think could be the future since he is in the Prophesy as "who follows after" or something similar (he did go draw Callandor out of the Stone).

Will there be a 'Shadar Nor' after the Last Battle?

I hope it's more of a committee!

Nothing really suggests that it is after TG.

As said, the great battle could very well be another battle, not TG itself

It's RJ's series, so probably Lini or Mistress Anan. In a PROPER tale, it would have been...

Perhaps RJ meant for it to be Mat and Tuon (i.e. in the outriggers). *NM*

According to RJ, those outriggers are rather about the reconquest of Seanchan. *NM*

Right, but they don't only need to be about that, i.e. perhaps the DO's remnants regroup there. *NM*

Hmm. Who WILL finish the victory over the Dark One by killing Egwene? *NM*

I think the Shadow will utterly be defeated at TG

I think the Dark One will be defeated, but the Shadow will always exist

Then why weren't they all dead the first time the Dark One was sealed?
