Arangar

-Quite possibly sent Slayer after Rand. This is likely as she admits she's pretended to be another Forsaken, and Slayer raises gender issues when he wonders who gave him his new orders.

IMO, Slayer's patron in WH was rather Osan'gar. It would fit his reaction after Moridin told him that he has to face Rand again at the Cleansing. After his failure in the end of PoD, he certainly didn't want to confront Rand again.

Aran'gar apparently posed as another Forsaken, like the Sammael impostor did. I think it makes the most sense that Aran'gar gave the DF Asha'man the order to kill Rand in a Demandred disguise.

--only person besides Moridin who knows that Cyndane is Lanfear, insists despite her lower saidar strength.

I think other Forsaken, like Moghedien or Graendal, are also quite certain that Cyndane must be Lanfear.

--possibly Taim? Returns to active duty 2 chapters before he does. Doesn't have the raw hate for Rand that'd make it impossible for Demandred to fill the role. No other male Forsaken currently known to be alive fits. Moridin's and Taim's orders for Rochaid on Rand & the seals eliminate Morry. Taim calls things "so-called," so seems like a lock for an AoL-er, despite the possibility that he picked up the phrase.

No, Taim can't be Aran'gar, as I explained to you in the other thread, especially because Aran'gar said that she can hardly imagine being a man, but also for logistic problems.

Taim is certainly just Taim, not a Forsaken in disguise.

Probably Aran'gar got a new task from SH/Moridin, after she left the Rebels. Perhaps she is with Perrin now, being the "unseen enemy".

Graendal

-In the Ansaline Gardens meeting, she set up the room. Why did she create 11 chairs when she knows 3 FS are dead? Did she think that Sammael is simply hiding? This seems unlikely given that she raided his stuff. Or that Asmo lives? She must surely have known 2 Forsaken are certainly beyond resurrection. Did she do it to screw with everyone, or to cover her own Forsaken imitation?

She likes to play mind-games.

-in TGS, is told by Moridin to frustrate Rand and hurt his mind/feelings. The only *new* action this seems to have caused was some Domani being killed and hidden to prolong Arad Doman's instability.

Yeah, in the end, she was a failure as most other Forsaken.

In my view, Graendal is the most likely suspect to have posed as Sammael to sent the Trolloc army in KoD.

Mesaana

-power base is White Tower, identity unknown. Runs BA, ran & divided WT through BA. May or may not still be in Tar Valon.

I believe she is most likely Norine Dovarna. Otherwise perhaps Danelle.

-participated in Belal's trap for Rand at the Stone of Tear. Presumably her part was sending the BA, who were strongly involved in baiting the Wonder Girls in order to bait the DR.

Yub.

-possibly revealed Arangar to the WT rebels? Logical, as it's a BA who revealed new weaves to detect saidin. And this revelation happens after she was furious with Arangar for Egwene's capture. She also felt the Rebels would surely collapse, so choosing to kill Arangar would consolidate her power and eliminate a rival.

Doesn't seem very likely in my view. After all, Mesaana wanted Aran'gar to further sow dissension among the Rebels.

Demandred

--Is he behind all the national destabilizations? Specifically, Tarabon, Altara, Amadicia, Ghealdan. Is he behind Borderland Armies being completely out of position?

Yeah, most likely he is in Murandy now and controls most of the Dragonsworn, especially Masema in the past. Perhaps he has also the new King of Tarabon under his control.

Moghedien

I think Moggy is most likely in Caemlyn. She has connections to the DF there.

Cyndane

-quite likely sent the 100K Trollocs after Rand. Most other FS complain that tracking the pattern to him is incredibly hard. Rand's location in Tear was hidden, but definitely known by one BA. Lanfear and Ishy seemed to be the only ones good at tracking via the pattern, so unless Moridin did it (which makes *no* sense) Cyndane is a solid candidate.

I seriously doubt this. Cyndane wants to kill Rand personally. Besides, Moridin certainly made sure that none of his two pets was behind this.

--little information is given on her post-Cyndane activities or whereabouts. She Traveled to The Cleansing from Caemlyn, and was talking to someone when she did so. No indication that her location or actions at that time were relevant.

We don't know that she was in Caemlyn before the Cleansing. Personally, I rather think it was Cairhien. Anyway, I think it makes sense that she is rallying DF in the Borderlands.
