If Asmo and Slayer never met in the books and Asmo was killed on-Screen in the books, Slayer could not have killed him.


From the quote, that logic would be valid only before the murder scene, so it proves nothing.

Bloody Asmodean quotes. They should mostly be ignored. The verbatim accuracy of quite a few of them is questionable, RJ's motives to give us so-called "clues" are highly questionable (he's even admitted twice to pulling our leg with the Asmodean stuff...) and all they ever did beside eliminating Fain is to muddle something that appears to be fairly simple in the books. The scene itself pointed to a murder of opportunity etc. - all RJ did was confirm the obvious.

The more unlikely the theory, it seems the more they use "re interpretations" of those quotes.
