Question: It seems to me that Rand has a half brother, and I was wondering if any of the characters knew and if it mattered?

I know RAFO is RJ's favorite answer to questions, but he does say no to things when he doesn't want to be able to use them in the future, or if it isn't a spoiler.
So, maybe Galad will discover he is Rand's half brother. Kin is important to Galad, as is the Light, and doing the right thing. He and Rand will definitely be on the same side at the LB but can we say the same for Gawyn?
Gawyn isn't sure where he stands with Egwene, or the WT, and he has a vendetta against Rand. Galad knows Morgase is alive, but Gawyn still doesn't.
Anyone else think it's possible that right before, or during, the LB, Gawyn might attack Rand and find himself dueling Galad?
Would Galad choose Gawyn over Rand?
Would Gawyn kill Galad to get to Rand?
Is it even relevant? Thoughts?
