Obviously Rand has done the most slash'n'bash damage to the shadow, but I think whoever figures out how to stop the food from spoiling will have that number 2 slot.

Gotta admit though, as hard as it was to grow crops when the weather was bad, as hot and miserable it was, people weren't starving quite as quickly as they are now. Making almost all the food everywhere inedible without making someone very sick? Smart move DO. Easy enough to kill off the whole damn planet if it goes unchecked. Maybe it can't be done and the desperation of starvation is what really sends them off to the Gap for TG. Or at the very least everyone stops starving after the LB.
