I am not sure why it is rarely discussed that it may be the silver rather than the OP-canceling property of Mat's medallion which harms the gholam.


One could hardly understand why this was never figured out by the Lightside then. Just toss a few coins at the gholam..
Besides that, I think the silver arrow was made into the a'dam.
