This has been my pet theory for years, also Setalle Anan will play a role in this plotline Matrimony Cauthon Send a noteboard - 26/05/2010 05:59:30 PM
I didn't add in the dagger part though

I have always thought it would be a no-brainer that Mat won't take the ter'angreal with him. If he fails, why would he want to give the ter'angreal back to the Finns when so many other people could use it?

I didn't mention the dagger, but I think the Kin's stash would somehow play a role with the gholam and future events surround Caemlyn. I also think Setalle Anan will reunite with Elayne and possibly play a role in the use or recreation of these ter'angreal. Setalle has the most knowledge of ter'angreal of any Aes Sedai living. One lose end, though, is that Elayne probably can't make any more ter'angreal until after she delivers her baby. Setalle can't channel either. So who would make more ter'angreal?

I think it is a remote possibility that Setalle could be healed (many people disagree with me on this), but it is probably more likely be Setalle helps Elayne recruit Kin members with the talent to make ter'angreal. Of course, the obvious problem with the idea is that Elayne doesn't know that Setalle used to be an Aes Sedai yet. There would have to be a scene to bring this realization to Elayne. However, Setalle was way too fascinated by Mat' foxhead for her not to play a role with this plotline.

If Elayne could recreate Mat's foxhead, she could have a mini-army capable of defending against some of the Asha'man. She could also have weapons capable of fighting against the gholam.

Birgitte's Silver Arrow - 26/05/2010 07:18:16 PM 604 Views
This is also a great point... but does Birgitte still have any silver arrows? - 26/05/2010 07:44:09 PM 515 Views
I think just silver would be too mundane as the gholam's weakness - 26/05/2010 08:02:00 PM 494 Views
I agree, it seems too simple that silver would kill the gholam - 26/05/2010 08:11:55 PM 515 Views
Double-dammit! The arrow's gone, but I'm sure only silver's needed. - 26/05/2010 08:23:04 PM 522 Views
