Unless it is a giant red herring it looks like Rand will be returning to the Wheel relatively shortly. That being said I am thinking that Min just might be the one to lead a loose confederacy of all the nations and groups that will be fighting the Shadow. Once Rand is out of the picture Min will be seen as having no real ties to any of the factions vying for the ultimate leadership. With this being the case, and a total stalemate otherwise, the various leaders will start looking to alternate choices that they would be able to tolerate. Min having no real enemies, but many friends among the leaders will be seen as acceptable if not preferable as a candidate to lead. Her ability to see future events in the pattern along with a growing perception of her as an intellectual will also weigh greatly in the decision for leadership.
Well perhaps it's a bit unlikely, but it could happen, and I am not just saying this because Min is my favorite character, (even though she is).
