Nothing else really explains the "ripples" and it seems unlikely that the DO can touch the world that much at this point.
But there were three "ripples" in Faile's case. How do you explain that? I mean when Rand balefired Graendal, the entire palace vanished in an instant and the experience seemed singular from Min's point of view.
I figure that if the ripples are connected to anything we know, then its the three seals. Three seals, three ripples. Maybe the DO was trying to break through and failed. That makes more sense to me than Rand's balefire.
It's a far fetched thought I admit But I'm thinking it's possible that by the time the wave traveled backward in time it stretched out over multiple ripples instead of one big shock wave.
