It has also been stated that the seven Ages do not repeat themselves perfectly. Slight variations may happen. Then enter the chaos theory: Even small changes may have great consequences.

I have theorized before that the Dark One's counterstroke and the resulting taint was only one of these variations - a small change that altered everything. And if this was so, we could not be sure of anything that should or should not happen because of the return of the Ages.

But if RJ said that good would win, then I suppose good will win. But "good" is in the eye of the beholder, is it not?
