Completely ignoring your point- Callandor and the Eye both kinda sucked

Callandor is an awesome sa'angreal, with a FLAW. sheesh. It had a pretty sweet Reincarnation Shield, but ToM or MoL had BETTER give us a reason why Callandor is so awesome. I'm still annoyed Rand crushed the Chodean Kal.
And the Eye of the World was really, really lame. It was a pool of untainted saidin- that's IT. It got used up in one battle, too (albeit the battle was Rand doing his annoying-mystical thing from the first three books and saving the day at Tarwin's Gap).
So, if Aginor had taken control of the Eye... so what? He was ALREADY an insanely powerful (by early series standards) channeler, who doesn't give a damn about the taint. Yes, it's a large amount of Power, but it's finite- he'd be equally as dangerous if he'd just found an angreal or something.
Really, the Eye was only important because it helped Rand win the battle for the Eye. If the Eye didn't exist, there wouldn't be a need for it.
(and guarding the Horn doesn't count- Callandor's shield and the Green Man's protected area show us that there were plenty of other effective ways to guard and hide things.)
Anyway. Yeah. Screw both of them.

I amuse myself.
Rand's two sides together - is the TGS scene the key to victory? As a man who uses a -sedai handle
