I am a little pissed at the show right now, to be honest. Mostly because I have less of a clue what's going on than ever before, and because they (seem to) kill off my favorite characters in all kinda ways.
Suddenly talking with UnLocke is the good idea? No listening to Richard anymore? What the hell was Ilana's purpose then?
I knew UnLocke would throw Desmond down that well, KNEW IT! This was better not the last we've seen of island-Desmond or his whole package thing was so pointless I could retch.
The whispers in the wind are dead people who are still stuck on the island for what they did (like in Michael's case). Okay.
Kissing Libby makes Hugo see bits of the island reality?
LA Desmond runs over Locke!?
What the bloody hell is going on?
4 (in words: four) episodes remain before the finale.

Desmond is not dead on the island, if you watched the Previews for next week, that much is obvious.
I do think that Desmond has reobtained his ability to be in two realities at once (or have memories in two realities). He exhibited this before (knowing about Charlies' demise, for instance)
Did Desmond make himself vunerable to Un-Locke by letting him touch him? Un-Locke only cares about the Losties from the plane, so he can get off the island. Therefore, Jack, Sun, Hurley, Sayid, and Kate (oh, and Frank) are safe. However, Jin, Sawyer, Desmond, Miles are not. But I am pretty sure we have seen Jin and Sawyer refuse to let Un-Locke touch them (and I think the rule is that they have to touch him first, not the other way around). Once Desmond let Un-Locke touch him, he became vunerable to him.
