My preferences tend to do more with actors than with specific movies.
"Meet John Doe" with Gary Cooper is a good one. I also like Jimmy Stewart, Judy Garland, and of course... Katherine Hepburn. When I was young I loved Shirley temple movies. I did not like Gone with The Wind, though. I know. Sorry.
